SkinLab The Medical Spa has 6 outlets so booking an appointment is hassle-free. I booked our appointments at the Wheelock Place outlet which is located on level 4. It is located right in front of the escalator which is very convenient.
SkinLab The Medical Spa looks very modern and clean. The staff looked very professional in their white uniforms.
A staff brought my girlfriend and I into a small private room where we filled in a form about our skin condition. The staff came in and visually analyzed our skin, giving us recommendations on which free treats we should opt for. She advised me to do the Intense Hydrating Facial and VitaC Infusion Facial for my girlfriend.
Two staffs brought us to our respective rooms (there are no rooms for 2 persons). The room I was shown to was beautifully-decorated with earthen tones. The treatment bed is padded with a thick blanket which heats up so much I thought was an electric blanket. It’s warm and comfortable as you lie on the bed.
The facial therapist started by cleaning my face with warm water and mild cleanser. After applying toner and moisturizer, she proceeded to give me a head and facial massage. She squeezed out the blackheads on my face with pore vacuum and microdermabrasion machine. Lastly, she applied a soothing ampoule and two sheet masks on my face. The whole facial lasted 90 minutes.
