People’s Park Complex Massage – No-Frill Cheap Massage

I have chronic neck, shoulder and back pain, so I am always up for a good massage. I have tried Healing Touch Spa in Singapore, Batam massage and Thai Odyssey in Nagoya Hill Batam

Someone once mentioned to me that there are many cheap $10 massage shops on the third floor of People’s Park Centre. I have been wanting to visit for a very long time and today I finally have the time to do so.

I can’t even remember when was the last time I actually went into People’s Park Centre. It has remained largely unchanged. All the travel agencies are closed, due to the Covid-19 pandemic which forced Singapore to close its border to international travel.

I went up to the third floor and almost the whole level were all massage shops. Mr Lim Foot Reflexology & Health Plus was the biggest operator occupying many shops.

The prices at all the shops are pretty much all the same. Although it’s not exactly 10 minutes for $10, but it is still much cheaper than most massage centers in Singapore.

This is no-frill massage so don’t be expecting aromatherapy and music. The rooms are dimly-lit to allow customers to rest and a clean towel and disposable mask shield is used for each customer.

My masseur was a Malaysian guy called Jia Hui and he did a terrific job. He released the tension in my muscles, even those which I didn’t know exist.

S$25 for 30 minutes of solid massage, I think it’s well worth it.

If you are looking to get a good massage but you don’t want to spend a fortune, so do give the massage shops in People’s Park Centre a try.
