Yee Shun Milk Company is famous for their Double Skin Steamed Milk Pudding, which was first created by an old lady Madam Jiang in Guangdong in the 1850s.
It is called Double Skin Steamed Milk Pudding because the steps of making this dessert creates two layers of milk skin (奶皮).
First-timers should definitely try their Famous Double Skin Steamed Milk [HK$32] which is the original flavor.
Yee Shun Milk Company uses buffalo milk from its own buffalo farm in Guangdong, China. Buffalo milk has a higher water content which gives Yee Shun Milk Company’s Double Skin Steamed Milk Pudding its smoothness and creaminess.
Besides the original Famous Double Skin Steamed Milk Pudding, there are many other flavors such as Ginger Steamed Milk [HK$33], Coffee Steamed Milk [HK$33], Chocolate Steamed Milk [HK$33], Red Bean Double Skin Steamed Milk [HK$36] and Lotus Double Skin Steamed Milk.
Yee Shun Milk Company is also famous for its Iced Steamed Egg [HK$24] where egg is used in replace of buffalo milk.

Ham and Egg Sandwich [HK$23] is one of the classic sandwiches you can get anywhere. Two slides of soft white bread holds a slice of chicken ham and scrambled egg.
Yee Shun Milk Company also offers two breakfast sets in the morning at HK$33 each. Set A consists of Ham Macaroni , Sausage and Egg, Bread with Butter and Coffee/Tea. Set B consists of Bee Hoon with Sliced Chicken and Vegetables, Ham and Egg, Bread with Butter and Coffee/Tea. You can top-up HK$2 to change your drink into iced drinks or top-up HK$6 to change it to fresh milk.
Yee Shun Milk Company is my favorite place to have breakfast in Hong Kong. The staff are not very pleasant but they are very efficient in getting your orders to your table. You can have an authentic Hong Kong breakfast and also get to try Hong Kong’s famous dessert Double Skin Steamed Milk, killing two birds with one stone.
