Many people lists adrenaline-pumping activities such as bungee jumping and skydiving as bucket list items, things they want to accomplish before they die.
I get it, everyone wants to try something dangerous at least once in their life. Some people live off the adrenaline-rush while others want to prove to themselves and others that they are not scared of these daredevil activities.
Many people fly all over the world to take part in these activists, but we Singaporeans are a lucky bunch, for we have our own version right here in Sentosa.
Mega Advenure is located at Siloso Beach. If you are coming by the monorail from VivoCity, alight at Beach Station and walk 800m, Mega Adventures will be to your left. Alternatively, you can also hop on the free beach tram heading for Siloso Beach and get off at the 3rd stop.

There are altogether 5 activities in Mega Adventure:
MegaZip is similar to flying fox where you travel from a 75m tall platform through 450m over Sentosa beaches and jungle at 60kph.
MegaClimb is high rope challenge with 3 levels at 5-15m heights.
MegaJump allows you to experience the thrill of a freefall parachute jump without the plane from a height of 15m.
MegaWall gives you a taste of what Spider-Man feels like as you navigate the 15m wall, one of the tallest in Singapore.
MegaBounce allows you to jump up to 8m on the bungee assisted trampolines. This activity is perfect for kids but adults are welcome to try as well.
There are various packages depending on the activities you want to try:

High Flyer [S$76.50] = MegaZip + MegaClimb + MegaJump
Adventurer [S$67.50] = MegaZip + MegaClimb
Thrill Seeker [S$58.50] = MegaZip + MegaJump
Little Explorer [S$54] = MegaZip + MegaBounce
After you have made payment at the counter, the staff will put a bracelet on your wrist that shows the package you paid for.
I wanted to do the MegaZip and MegaJump, so I opted for the Thrill Seeker package.
You will be fitted with a safety harness like this one and a bungee car will bring you to the activity area.
Standing at the 75m platform is a little scary but the breathtaking view as you glide through the 450m MegaZip will make you forget all your fears.
Standing at the 15m platform for the MegaJump makes it look dizzying high, but it is actually a really short jump. Squeeze your eyes tight if you must but you will be missing out on the fun.
Mega Adventure adventures are definitely not for the faint-hearted, but they are great fun. As the saying goes “life begins at the end of your comfort zone”, it’s time to start ticking off those bucket list items.
